Criminal Liability of the Crown

The Criminal Liability of the Crown project was undertaken around the same time as the creation of the ‘corporate manslaughter’ crime for the private sector. The government asked the Commission to provide advice on how the crime could be applied to the public sector or people providing services to the government.
