We publish final reports, consultation papers and other documents related to all our projects. You can download them for free, or order free printed copies. To order printed copies, please email the Victorian Law Reform Commission.
Most inquiries have a consultation paper and a final report. Some also have background papers, position/options papers or an interim report, and some are published in plain English versions.
To find out what publications were produced for each project, check the project page (look under All Projects).
There is a final report for each completed project. Final reports contain the VLRC’s recommendations to change the law or processes and procedures.
Final recommendations are decided on by every member of the VLRC, after all the consultations, submissions and research.
When a report is given to the Attorney-General, he or she has 14 sitting days of Parliament to table the report.
