Any member of the public, community group, or organisation can suggest areas of Victorian law which need reform.
Please complete the form below if you have an idea for community law reform.
Your idea must be a reasonably small project related to Victorian law that will deliver clear community benefits. Please read the criteria before you make a submission. You can also call us on Freecall 1300 666 555 (within Victoria) to discuss your idea first.
If the VLRC takes on your suggestion as a community law reform project, we will:
- suggest to the Attorney-General that he or she refer the matter to the Commission for research and community consultation
- research and make recommendations to the government if the suggestion involves minor changes to the law.
