Suggest a Community Law Reform Project
You don't have to wait for the commission or the Attorney-General to come up with an idea for law reform. Community groups, legal organisations and individuals are often best placed to suggest areas which need law reform.
If you have an idea for community law reform, the commission can:
- suggest to the Attorney-General that he or she refer the matter to the commission for research and community consultation
- research and make recommendations to the government if the suggestion involves minor changes to the law.
