One of the commission’s functions is to recommend minor changes to the law and encourage suggestions for law reform from the community. 

Supporting young people in police interviews

This project looks at how to give better support to young people in police interviews when their parents are not there. The commission is currently working on its final report. You can view public submissions to this project online.

Community Law Reform suggestions

Anyone can suggest as idea for Community Law Reform. You can suggest an idea for a new community law reform project at any time. More information about how to make a suggestion, and the criteria we use to assess suggestions, is available in this section of the website.

The commission will call for submissions as part of its research process. Anyone can make a submission and they can take a variety of forms.
