ART and Adoption - Implementation
The commission launched its final report about ART and Adoption in June 2007.
The Victorian Attorney-General Rob Hulls announced in December 2007 that the government will implement almost all of the commission's recommendations, subject to working through practical implementation issues.
He said the government rejected the commission's recommendation about donor information laws and would refer recommendations about adoption to the Ministerial Council of Community Services Ministers for "further consideration".
