Implementing the Uniform Evidence Act: Report

Two reports on the laws of evidence were tabled in parliament on 8 February 2006.

The Uniform Evidence Law: Report is a joint report of the Victorian Law Reform Commission, the Australian Law Reform Commission and the New South Wales Law Reform Commission. The report makes recommendations about amending the uniform Evidence Act and is available on the Australian Law Reform Commission's website: www.alrc.gov.au

Implementing the Uniform Evidence Act: Report is the Victorian Law Reform Commission's report about the drafting of a uniform Evidence Act for Victoria and the amendment of existing Victorian legislation. The report also makes recommendations about education and other practical issues of implementation.
