Review of Family Violence Laws - Report
The Review of Family Violence Laws: Report was launched on 1 March 2006. The report makes 153 recommendations for changes to the law including:
- the introduction of a new Act
- changes to the definition of family violence
- improvements in police procedures
- changes to the process for intervention order applications.
