Making a Submission
Submissions are basically your ideas or opinions about the law the commission has under review. We will call for submissions as part of a consultation process.
Submissions can be written, such as emails or letters, or verbal, such as a telephone conversations or face-to-face meetings.
Submissions can be as short or long as you want. Two pages can be just as valuable to our work as 20 pages.
If you don’t want the commission to refer to your submission or include your name in a publication, you need to tell us. Unless you tell us you want your submission to be confidential it can be read by any member of the public in our offices and uploaded to our website.
