Applications Open: Community Law Reform Manager

The Victorian Law Reform Commission is currently seeking a manager for it's Community Law Reform Program. The Manager will be responsible for the running of the program, providing advice to the commission about suggested projects, assist in the commission's education program and assist with commission consultation strategies. A position description can be downloaded from the 'Employment' area of this website. Applications close 5 January 2009.

The commission's Community Law Reform program draws on suggestions from the community about minor changes to the law which could benefit for the general community or a disadvantaged sector of the community. Our aim is to improve community involvement in law reform by opening up access to people and communities who are not usually involved in the law but may have good ideas about how the law could be improved.
